Degno seguito di Gomorra, qui segue tutta l'economia della cocaina dal Messico all'Africa esaminando quanti più nomi è riuscito a collegare, quante più storie ha portato in superficie tra carnefici e vittime. Scrittura sempre tra le sue stesse viscere. Non semplice ma dannatamente interessante.

"Mi sono accorto che la coca era il perno attorno a cui ruotava tutto. La ferita aveva un nome solo. Cocaina... La mappa del mondo si costruisce sul carburante... quello dei motori, il petrolio e quello dei corpi, la coca."
