I just finished Honey in the Marrow last night. I stayed up way too late to finish it. It is an achingly tender love story of two older women who discover their sapphic tendencies later in life. It was refreshing to have older characters and the depiction of their physical overtures and longing was poignant and spot on. Ultimately, it was a story of finding one's self later in life and embracing change. I loved it and highly recommend.

I loved this book. I found it laugh out loud funny, the characters relatable, and the friendships real. Eagerly awaiting her next book which I have pre-ordered and will be released 11/22/2022.
