You know what, Bookwyrm might be better than Goodreads simply based on half stars and not dictating what each one represents.

Anyway, super impressed with the audiobook. There’s moments where Mariah’s as campy as can be, and others where you hear her voice break as she bares her soul. Oh, and she sings! Songs from her albums that this casual radio listener wasn’t familiar with, but it’s fascinating to hear them as she tells the stories that inspired her lyrics. Highly, highly recommend.

Eisner including the origin story of his hoarse voice is camp. I think.

There's probably more to get out of this if you don't already listen to the podcast, but it did bring back memories of seeing my own BFF every day yet never running out of things to say. Perhaps we should try the Ramble thing.

I read the first one last year just to get to the sequel, which I’d heard was totally bonkers. Let me tell you, the 102 Dalmatians film where Cruella is literally baked into a cake is not even half as bonkers as this.

I watched the film first, so I couldn't not hear Charlie in Rex Harrison's voice, but he gave a much better performance in my mind.

A rare case where I prefer the televised version to the books. It turns out what always seemed too good to be true really was. But real life Rae Earl is hilarious and painfully relatable and got the happy ending she deserves. That's a good one right there.
